Job Description

University bachelor degree (S1) in Accountancy with 5 years’ experience in relevant field, preferably from a multinational company

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge:

  • Strong analysis in financial reports, cost control, budgeting and conversant in financial issues, financial accounting, Tax knowledge, Computer Spreadsheet, SAP (essential) and Hyperion reporting (preferred).
  • Strong PC skills in MS Office.
  • In-dept understanding in SAP preferred.
  • Good analytical skill, accurate and good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Responsibilities

    Areas of Responsibilities :

    • Prepare and distribute financial and management reports required by senior management in order to inform them about the financial performance
    • Prepare and transmit financial data to Stahl Holdings in order to ensure compliance of the group reporting obligations.
    • Maintain and effective and efficient general ledger system for accurate recordings of financial data in order to keep proper financial information
    • Liaise with auditors, customers, suppliers, bankers, insurance brokers, tax consultants and lawyers and others and provide them with information required in order to ensure legal compliance and maximize tax effectiveness.
    • Responsible for the preparation, analysis and interpretation of monthly reports for management and parent company head office as required and when due. Responsible for bank reconciliations.
    • Overview of the financial and accounting reports for regional entities and ensure proper accounting of financial transactions including preparing and reviewing the B/S schedules
    • Responsible for cash payments for goods and services
    • Responsible for personnel administration, weekly / monthly payroll, superannuation, group tax, FBT, company cars, workers comp insurance, payroll taxes etc
    • Responsible for consolidating and inputting the Annual Budgets into the reporting system
    • Responsible for :

    a. VAT Recapitulation (in, out, import & export)

    b. Entry and report VAT using e-SPT PPN

    c. Knowledge about WHT 23, 26 & Final

    d. Entry and report WHT using e-SPT PPh

    • Assisting in other finance related matters as and when required

    Purpose :

    Provide accounting and reporting and treasury support as per corporate guidelines so as to facilitate maintenance of an efficient and effective accounting system.

    Problem Solving :

    Understand HQ requirements on reporting and resolve any issues

    Investigate and correct unusual bookkeeping entries.

    Independence :

  • Analyse financial variance.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports for Stahl Chemicals Indonesia
  • Answer financial information and tax queries
  • Compute and accrue commission / rebates and maintain records of payable and paid details.
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Schedules in good order and monitor on monthly basis
  • Dependece :

    Seek tax agent assistance for tax matters
