Job Description

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, organizes and schedules the activities of accounting functions.

• Interprets various accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends and/or initiates actions to be taken.

• Ensure that financial statements, cash flows, and budgets are prepared in an accurate and timely manner

• Verify & finalize daily journal entries

• Verify cash / bank reconciliation result

• Review/prepare corporate tax reports

• Review/prepare company’s financial performance

• Solve problem, create procedures and continually improve internal system to ensure its effectiveness

• Coordinate with the external auditors and all other relevant government authorities

• Assist on other financial matters such as budgeting and forecasting etc

• Cooperate with team of accountants responsible for full spectrum of vessel accounting operations

• Monitoring of vessel funds

• Advising Ship Owner of the shortfall and follow-up where necessary

• Communication between various internal stakeholders as well as with customers

• Plan, organise and manage the human resource functions of the Company. Formulate recruitment, training and development, employee benefits and personnel policies

• Apply to Indonesia Immigration for employment and dependant passes for foreign employees and their family

• Review and update job descriptions for the administration staff, also the procedures stated in the personnel and office administration in the Office Administration Manual

• Prepare payroll calculation, tax calculation / PPH 21 and Jamsostek reporting

• Maintain an up-to-date Employee’s Personal Data file

• Review and administration of staff medical and office insurance

Requirements

S1 graduated (Bachelor degree) from a leading university with minimum GPA 2.75

• Min 3 – 5 years experience in Finance & Accounting

• Having Experience in Public Accountant Firm is preferable

• Good knowledge in taxes

• Good knowledge of local labour law and have some HR experience

• Good command in English is an advantage

• Experience in Ship Management Company with Shipnet program experience an advantageous

• Self-motivated, initiative and able to work independently
